Märklin MHI + Insider (club) items
For about 5 years (as of 2018), the MHI articles are particularly successful because, in contrast to earlier, the MHI articles are not just good Märklin products, but explicitly proposed, conceived and desired by the board of the MHI. One of the most important innovations was the introduction of the philosophy "thinking in trains". So not only a nice locomotive, but also the right car set. And not only that, because in passenger cars, the interior lighting is usually already installed and often even more features such as sound or special features. And the freight car sets are taken to ensure that they are either aged or realistic loaded.
Especially in the past few years, the MHI articles were already sold out shortly after introduction at the factory and enjoy really high popularity and on well-known Internet platforms partly cause price increases well above the RRP.
